Do I need an Epic Games account to use Tracknite?
No. Just search for a public player nickname and you're in. Connecting your Epic account is optional — it only adds your own tournament results ("My Events") and your locker ("My Locker") and can be disconnected anytime in Settings.
Why can't I see some player's stats?
Stats are shown only for public profiles. If a profile is set to private in Fortnite, its stats stay private — that's normal, not an error.
Where is my session history stored?
On your device — and, if you leave iCloud sync on, in your own private iCloud, so it survives a reinstall and follows you to your other devices. It never reaches our servers. You can turn sync off in Settings → Data.
Does Tracknite update my stats when the app is closed?
Yes — iOS wakes the app briefly in the background to save a stats snapshot, so your history and rank chart keep filling in even when you play with the app closed. You can switch this off in the iOS Settings app under Tracknite → Background App Refresh.
Will Tracknite tell me when a tournament starts?
Yes. Open a tournament in the Events tab and tap the bell — you get a notification the evening before and again shortly before the window opens. You can also switch on "All tournaments in my region" in Settings to cover every cup from the next seven days. Reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing goes through our servers, and you can turn them off in Settings → Notifications.
Why does a tournament show "Played" instead of my placement?
For duo, trio and squad events, Epic only shares a result when the whole team is known — and it forgets the team once registration closes. Tracknite tries teams from your other tournaments automatically. If one is still missing, open that event in My Events and search your teammate's nickname in the leaderboard: Tracknite remembers the team and fills in your placement. Ranked Cups keep your real score in a separate division leaderboard, so if that table can't be loaded yet, the event shows "Played" and the result fills in on the next refresh. Once found, a result stays in your history for good.
How is my locker value calculated?
Amounts are estimates: Item Shop items use the typical price for their type and rarity, and V-Bucks are converted at the price of the smallest V-Bucks pack on the day you got the item (for items obtained before March 2024, on the day it first appeared in the shop). A Battle Pass price is split across the items from it, and passes in months with Fortnite Crew count as included in the subscription.
Items with no source info that were never in the shop are counted as coming from the Battle Pass of the season they were added in — or as a shop purchase if you got them after that season ended. Back bling, loading screen, spray and emoticon bought with an outfit are included in its price.
Passes you didn't buy count as free (FREE) — Epic tells us whether you bought them. OG Pass and LEGO Pass rewards are matched exactly for the current season; older ones by the date you got them. Items the shop has no standard price for are shown as "Price unknown" and are not counted in the total.
